I'M BACK!

Good Morning! Happy Wednesday!

I'm back and almost recovered from surgery!
I had surgery last Thursday and took several days off work to recover. I haven't been to the gym and I won't be able to go for awhile because....

I got new boobies! I am so happy with them! I was keeping it under wraps for awhile until it was done, but there is no sense in hiding it now, because it's pretty obvious.
I'm pretty bummed about not being able to train. I tried to go and walk on the treadmill one day and I was in so much pain that I had to stop and go home and take more pain meds! I laid on the couch for the rest of the day, lol.
Thursday - Monday were spent at home in bed and on the couch watching movies and relaxing. The pain was the worst from Thursday night to Saturday night, but got better after that.
Now, I am back to work and back to normal life somewhat, but no heavy lifting, no training and no cardio (yet). I may be able to start light cardio soon such as walking on an incline, but no elliptical or running, etc.

When I am able to train again I will be super happy, but for now I am just trying to enjoy the time off and having more time for me.
It's all diet right now for me, and I have eliminated grains and sugars from my diet, minus the odd piece of fruit here and there. I guess you could say I'm doing a paleo diet, but I wouldn't call it that.

Today my meals are;

1.) - 1 egg, 8 egg whites, 2 tbsp guacamole
2.) - Smoothie with 1/2 small banana, 1 scoop Chocolate Gaspari Myofusion, 1/4 cup plain greek yogurt and 3 cups baby kale/spinach mix with water.
3.) - 100 Calorie pack almonds
4.) - 3 ounces chicken with salad (3 cups baby kale/spinach mix, cherry tomatoes, carrots and pper)

That's all I have planned for now. You can see it's not alot of food, and hardly any carbs.
Reasons for that are, well... I am simply not that hungry because of no exercise and these damn pain meds, and I am not working out so I don't need that much food or carbs. Especially grains. I won't be eating oatmeal, quinoa, rice or yams anymore and will be getting all my carbs from vegetables and fruit. Plus it's good for healing :)

Wanted to share with you something I found at Wal-Mart last night and have fallen in love with!!!!

Wholly Guacamole! So delish! Just avocados and spices! I had it next to my eggs this morning and it was so good. All natural ingredients and the nutrition facts are the bomb!!!
It would also be good for dipping! I think I am going to try dipping some baby carrots in it!

In other news, I am going to Mexico soon!!! Ahh, crazy how time flies.
I will also be keeping on this no grains diet until I go to Mexico, just to look a little leaner! I won't be able to tan before I go, so I will most likely get a spray tan before I go... I am so pale!
I gained 8 lbs from my surgery!!! Crazy! A couple days later I was down 2 lbs, then the next day I was down 4 lbs, and I have kept some weight on, probably from my new boobs. LOL. That's fine by me, But i would still like to lose about 5 lbs before I go, So I am relying solely on diet for that.

Will be recording my progress here :)

Have a great day everyone!

xoxo
Andrea
