Happy Friday and long weekend to us Canadian folk!
We have a new holiday here in B.C, Family Day! YAY! This gets us through until our next long weekend :)
I can't believe it's almost Spring! Thank god! Flu season is almost over, and I am so relieved! I am somewhat of a germaphobe so flu season is always extra hard on me and stresses me out big time!
I can't wait for the nice weather to come out :) Sun always makes me happy, and everyone seems to be in a good mood.
I am leaving for Mexico in a couple days and so excited for the break and sun! I can't wait to unplug - Get away from work, work e-mails and social media for awhile, LOL.
I am picturing myself getting up, drinking coffee, walking on the beach and just relaxing.
I will be getting in my workouts, depending on how good the gym is I guess. I can walk on the beach, but no running allowed yet. I know they have some free weights, so I can make up a little circuit.
I'm happy my boyfriend likes to train as well, and he likes to train with me, so that is an activity we can do together. I'm hoping we do a lot of walking together, in the town and on the beach :)
So romantic, being there for Valentine's Day! <3
Now that I have decided not to compete, I can be a little bit more relaxed about my eating, and enjoy my vacation without stressing out about getting in cardio and 5-6 meals a day, etc.
I am still going to keep it healthy, but can't wait to experience the food there. Fresh salsa and guac mostly ;)
I'm not sure what they have at the buffet, i'm assuming fruit, veggies, meats, eggs, etc. I'm not too sure If I want to eat any raw veggies like salad without washing them myself first, lol because I am a weirdo like that!
Going to the Canucks vs. The Flames game tomorrow night, then to a comedy club afterwards! I need a good laugh! :)
Then early Sunday morning it's off to the airport to catch our flight. I have a funny feeling I won't be getting any sleep Saturday night - haha!
I hope everyone has a great weekend and I will be back sometime in the next week or so with some updates on my trip :)
