Happy (ughh....) Monday!
Hope everyone had a good weekend! I had a relaxing one, but somehow still tired this Monday morning... what else is new?
It's a coffee kind of day!
I spent the weekend with the boyfriend! We went to the gym for the second time together since my surgery and I actually did quite well.
I did 25 minutes on the elliptical and 10 minutes walking incline. I finished the workout with 3 sets of walking lunges (no weights) and then a few sets of squats with 10 lb dumbbells.
My legs were killing me the next day, and I am still kind of sore!
After the gym we went shopping for clothes for our Mexico trip coming up soon!
I got a couple new bikinis, a sundress, 2 shirt, new bras and underwear and some purple shampoo and conditioner for my hair :) It takes the brassiness out of blonde hair! It's the best stuff!
I'm going to be going back to the gym this week for cardio because I am going to Mexico soon so wanna sweat it out ;)
I'll definitely be getting a spray tan before I go! This girl is pale!
On Sunday we were super lazy and slept in. The BF made us breakfast of egg/egg whites and turkey bacon with a few homemade hash browns :) It was delish. I drank coffee and laid around for a bit before we went and got supplies for ceasers to watch the Superbowl! They were delish.
Our team (the 49'ers) lost, but it was a good game and I have a new found love for Football! I am learning lots :)
I'm excited to get my ass back into the gym. I feel soft and squishy. Not good. It felt great to lift some weights (even light) on Saturday!
I will be recording my progress. I've lost a little bit of strength, and I need to build it back up! Some conditioning workouts are definitely in order!
